Production Diary #8 - Game Sprite Development

I have created the walk cycle for my main character and so it now feels more immersive when you move the character.
I had to create range of frames which go between having the legs and arms extend. I struggled at first to find the best way visually which would be appealing when looking but I think I have ended up with a decent looking animation.
I struggled as with all of the artwork to animate it and have it look ok. I still think its not perfect but it at least looks like something is happening now when you move the character.
I have learnt that sprite animation is a skill that requires practice separate from just being able to draw the sprite. It shows that more practice will end in better results when it comes to game development.
