I believe that my game is pretty much ready for playtesting. Here I put the finishing touches on the game, as well as fight through some technical difficulties. Certain features in the game may be slightly different due to the loss of some progress which was recorded within the video.
I first show what I have created so far for the second level. I then configure the hitboxes in order to make it as smooth as possible. I then copy the even sheet code from the beginning level over to my second level making some minor changes such as the variables which do not need to be copied as they carry over from the first one. I also ensure that the end of the level will throw me in the the ending screen instead of the beginning of the level due to copying it from the original.
I did run into some difficulty with Construct as it decided to crash and so I lost a lot of progress but luckily I was able to reconstruct it off camera and also make some minor improvements such as a section of the level design which didn't quite look like my initial designs originally.
Overall I think I have learn't to save my work at regular intervals in order to ensure I don't lose too much progress when technology gives up. I have also learn't that global variables carry over between scenes and so you don't need to have the same variables on two different scenes.
