Google Halloween!

Halloween has to be the best set of Doodles out there.

Most of the Google Doodles for Halloween contain a description which features the development process to make the doodle and anything to do with it. For example, 2017's doodle featured photos of the many designs that went into the doodle. (see below)

My Designs

In the first image, I tried to trace and also freehand some popular Halloween connotations and I feel that I impressed myself with the recognition of many of them. I then translated them onto my traced Google logo's to produce a Halloween style Google Doodle. I think they all turned out great but my personal favorite is the bottom one as it is the most unique and features designs not just translated from the left image but also some obvious developments from the originals.

How will this research help me to create my final product?

I now have a better understanding of the process you have to go through to design a Google doodle and the thought process behind it. This will help me when I go to design levels or sprites for my game.
